Congratulations and good luck! You've entered an official Roamli Scavenger Hunt Competition. This "Tips for Success" page will outline some of the things we recommend you do to prepare for the big day.

Getting Your Account Activated

• Ensure you've created a Roamli account and received an activation confirmation email from the support team. Whenever you purchased your ticket you should have entered your email address associated with your Roamli account. If you purchased a ticket without making a Roamli account go create one and then submit a ticket to our Support Desk with the title "Roamli Account Created for Scavenger Hunt After Purchasing Ticket". You won't be able to participate in the hunt if we don't connect your account to the hunt. Include your email address and username tied to your Roamli Account along with the order number you received in your confirmation email when you purchased the hunt. We'll receive an email from us with further information within 48 hours after we receive your request.
• You'll receive an email within 24 hours after purchasing your ticket with the full details regarding the event as well as the official Event Link to use in the Roamli mobile app to find the Official Scavenger Hunt.
• You'll also receive an Event Link for a practice Scavenger Hunt in the same area. We highly recommend completing this practice Scavenger Hunt on the web app to familiarize yourself with how Roamli Scavenger Hunts work.

How To Prepare For The Scavenger Hunt Itself

• Keep your Battery Charged: Roamli is a geolocation-based app that allows us to populate amazing challenges all around the world and your city! As you explore it's important to keep your phone battery as charged as possible otherwise you risk being unable to submit challenges for the Scavenger Hunt.
• Pack a Portable Charger: If you have one we recommend bringing a portable battery charger. The last thing you'll want is to run out of charge on your phone during the home stretch!
• Pack Water and a Snack: Official Roamli Scavenger Hunts last a few hours, so make sure you pack a snack and some water to stay hydrated.
• Create a Solo or Team Strategy: Whether you're going to have friends helping you or going it alone, plan your Scavenger Hunting strategy in advance. Remember, if you have other people helping you you can still only use your one device and your account to complete the Scavenger Hunt. We want this to be fair and fun for everyone, so if we see you're using multiple devices we'll have to disqualify you, and believe us we don't want to do that!
• Plan how you'll be getting around the city: Figure out your transportation method! While you won't know what you'll specifically be looking for until the Scavenger Hunt officially starts, you'll know the area you'll be exploring to find them all before it starts. These Scavenger Hunts will take you all around the public places in your city so it's important to plan the how you'll be traveling around the city! Never use the Roamli app while operating a vehicle and make sure to obey all laws when using Roamli or participating in an Official Roamli Scavenger Hunt.
• Read the Official Rules and Terms & Conditions. This may sound cliché but there's actually some good information there that will help. Take some time and read it over!

Things To Consider During The Scavenger Hunt

• Be safe! Everything in the Scavenger Hunt is accessible to the public so you should not be trespassing on any private property. If you find yourself somewhere you don't think you should be - you probably shouldn't be there!
• When traveling throughout the city make sure you are not using the Roamli app while operating any form of vehicle. Your safety is our #1 concern so don't do anything you wouldn't feel comfortable telling your grandmother about!
• Have fun and enjoy the adventure! Whether you've lived in your city for years or are just visiting we're sure you'll discover many new and exciting sights.
